Easel & Abyss is a sapphic dark fantasy comic that explores the emotional wreckage of a past love. Jae, who is finally rediscovering themself, suddenly finds their world invaded by River, an artistic ex-lover whose sudden appearance takes on a surreal nature, her brush becoming a threat, painting Jae’s world in pitch black shadows and darkness.

The story hastens into an underwater confrontation, emotions from the past bubbling up to the surface, and a monstrous truth finally emerges.
